How can I contact you?

Is this the same as MailChimp?
CommuniMail sources everything for you and provides it for you as a content buffet.
Imagine, if you will, that MailChimp is the UberEats (delivery service) while CommuniMail is the restaurant that gathers the best ingredients, cooks the various meals and then presents it as a buffet for you to build the best product to send to your clients.
How safe are my contacts?
So safe in fact that CommuniMail doesn’t store your contacts on their servers. There is no way that we could gain access to your private client details. All of your client details are stored on the MailChimp platform which has the highest level of security in place.

Will I be tied into a long contract?
You can chose to pay for your subscription on a monthly or annual basis. If you do chose the monthly plan, then you can leave at any time. We would hate to see you leave, but if you do want to end your relationship with CommuniMail, just get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org and we will terminate your account.
If you’ve chosen the annual package, you pay for the entire year and only actually pay for 10 of the months. If you wish to close your account before the end of the year, the remainder of your subscription would be forfeited as the remainder is non-refundable.
We do hope that you see so much value that this never becomes a problem.
How do I pay?
PayFast is a very secure payment gateway allowing subscribers to make payments and set up subscriptions via credit cards, cheque cards, EFT, Bitcoin and a load more ways. You were not able to pay in livestock or body parts when I last checked.

How often should I send a newsletter?
In a world in which we are all bombarded with spam and those endless daily emails from that time we downloaded that ebook/course/webinar,etc. I STRONGLY recommend that you err on the side of caution and send newsletters less frequently than you’d like.
The quickest way to have clients unsubscribe is to send a newsletter too often. Even though CommuniMail refreshes the content weekly, not every industry would benefit from each new refresh.
I would recommend sending your newsletter every fortnight or every month.
If you really want to be a smart cookie, pop around to www.poll-maker.com, set up a poll asking the question “How often would you like to get an amazing email from me with jokes, good news stories, etc?”. Set the answers as weekly, fortnightly, and monthly and let your clients guide you.
How much content should I put into the 'intro paragraph'?
Keep the content light and too the point. It’s been proven that humans now have a shorter attention span than goldfish. I’m not even kidding. Check this out (http://time.com/3858309/attention-spans-goldfish/).
With this in mind, keep it short or you’ll turn your clients off.
Will I need to reload my clients every time?
Can I change a client's information once it's loaded?
It’s very easy to change any of the client information once it’s loaded. Simply go into ‘My People’, search for the client, and click ‘edit’.
Can I see how many people open my newsletter?
Thanks to the CommuniMail / MailChimp integration, you will get all of the analytics via the MailChimp account that you set up. At the moment CommuniMail doesn’t display your client analytics but we are working on adding this feature soon. (watch this space)
From your MailChimp account you’ll be able to track a smorgasbord of data such as who received your newsletters or birthday cards, who opened them, who didn’t receive them for whatever reason, how may people unsubscribed, etc.
This information is hugely powerful in customer management, so enjoy learning more about your business.
Can a customer unsubscribe from the newsletter?
In fact, all email platforms must provide this feature. It’s never pleasant when someone does unsubscribe but it’s a fact of life when you’re in the business world. You can’t please 100% of the people 100% of the time.
If someone does unsubscribe, it gives you a fantastic opportunity to get in touch and make sure everything is hunky-dory. Reinforcing the relationship is, after all, what CommuniMail is all about.
